10.6 is not supported

It failed to work on OS X 10.6. I went to the developers facebook page and reported the issue. The reply i recieved recommended I update my Operating system. There for, i have concluded that OS X 10.6 is not actually supported.
Below is the reply:

[me] 10.6 or later. 64bit. does this mean os x 10.6 is no longer supported ?

‪[Chess Room‬] According to your logs: "Reason: Incompatible library version: Chess Online requires version 7.0.0 or later, but libcurl.4.dylib provides version 6.0.0". One way to upgrade libcurl is upgrade your Mac OX which is good for you, I think.
